Tea!

After the last two posts on Hadith and Polygamy I thought I'd lighten things up a bit :D I went shopping today and bought the cutest tea mugs & cups ever!! I LOVE them!!

I can add them to the my growing tea-things collection :D Some of my favs...

I also bought a huge red teapot that holds 10 cups of tea. Can't imagine ever drinking 10 cups of tea at one time but I know my best friend Reem and I could do it together :D She's the only other person I know who loves tea as much as I do!
I think I'm going to go have some now :)

LoL...I love it. You're just like me! I have a set of mugs, a set of "casual" tea cups, three "formal" tea sets and a set a set for Arabic coffee. Sometimes I feel like my tea cups multiply when I'm at work! I also have some how managed to have a huge tea kettle, an electric kettle and two different types of pots for Arabic coffee and Nescafe(one for with grounds one for without). The only thing is my husband hates tea, my friends don't drink it and I hate making Arabic coffee so most of my cups sit unused until our family comes over.

Now I want to run out and get new cups!

cute cute cute! I love this! My obsession is with dishes. I don't have many, but I obsess about getting new dishes, to my husbands chagrin... Haha! :)

They are gorgeous! I love the presentation box too.
I like the ones in the bottom photo, are they from Lusaka? they look African.
I met someone from Lusaka this evening and thought of you. :)

Awesome! Someone else that's addicted!

I have a Peter Rabbit set from when I was like 3, a set from China, and a set from Egypt, although that number will probably flourish when I get the chance :-P What type do you drink?

(Oh and I have an electric teakettle and a stove teakettle...Someone should post on how to use the Arabic hand ones without burning themselves! *hint hint*)

Your collection is beautiful!

PS: Do you have a special way to cook tea?

Mrs S- lol wow, big collection! Same for me, a lot of my friends and family don't drink tea so I don't get to use the tea stuff as much as I'd like :(

Sarah Elizabeth: I don't have an obsession with dishes yet, haha, but I feel like it could happen soon because I keep seeing really cute sets everywhere!

Sarah C - I love the boxes too! And yes, the last set is from Lusaka :) Wow, I can't remember the last time I met someone from Zambia - it's been a while.

Noor - I love so many types of tea but my favoruite has to be a tea from Kenya called "Out of Africa". I also like Lipton vanilla and forest fruit; and Revolution earl grey lavender, English breakfast, and caramel honeybush :D
What about you?

Umm Omar: thanks!

Nadia: no, I don't really, except one recipe my best friend showed me which makes AMAZING tea - you boil milk and then add cinnamon and loose-leaf tea.

Do you have any special ways/recipes? I would love to try some!

Mmm, I'm a huge fan of the mints and the berries... Nettle is fantastic for muscle cramping, so I try to get my hands on it fairly often. I'd have to say my absolute favorite is fresh wintergreen tea from a friend's back yard!

Thanks Amalia!

Mmm berries are good too! And wow, fresh wintergreen tea sounds yummy too.
