Two Contradicting Stories about Islam

I'm not sure how to import a video from youtube so I'm going to just post the link...if someone knows how to import please let me know!

Points from this video:

- European fertility is low so their numbers are shrinking and hence so is their culture. EU birth rate: 1.38

- In a matter of years Europe as we know it will cease to exist

- France: 1.8 kids/family; among Muslims 8.1 (!)

- In Southern France, more mosques than churches (!)

- In 2027, 1/5 Frenchmen will be Muslim. This makes him state that in 39 years, France will be an Islamic Republic (?).

- In Britain, the number of Muslims has risen from 82,000 to 2.5 million in the last 30 years

- In Holland, 50% of newborns are Muslim

- In 15 years, half of Holland's population will be Muslim

The video goes on to give a lot more questionable information. So far more than 10 million people have watched this video.

BBC made a video debunking all these claims:

Definitely worth watching the 2 videos and comparing!

when you start a new post , you know where you can change the font? well click on the one that says 'add video' and a box pops us where it says 'chose a file to upload'

On youtube theres a box to your left that says 'embed'with a code. Copy and paste the code into the 'choose a file to upload ' box and then upload your video.

Did you get it? sorry lol I'm not that great when it comes to step-by-step instructions! :)

You can just get the code to embed the video on you tube on the right side. You can choose the smaller size so it will fit on the post width-wise.
Just use copy/paste and past it in the html portion of your post. Then when you post the video will be there :)

I have seen the 1st video already and thought it sounded somewhat logical but a little farfetched. I'll let you know what I think about the rebuttal.

White Orchid: for some reason I can't past the link into the section where it says "choose a file to upload" :S

Cool Muslimah: well the second video shows that the statistics from the first video aren't true. They're way over-exaggerated.
I don't think selecting "public" will make the blogs you follow appear on your main page. I think you have to do something else for that to happen.

Stacy: When I first watched the first video I also thought it seemed logical, but some statistics seemed kind of off. The second video makes more sense. Let me know what you think of it.

trying copying and pasting the code where it says 'edit html' then.

I've posted just one video ages ago so I don't really remember how I did it :S

"Muslim demographics"

See a debunk of this faked video (although funny, especially the 8.1 children/woman fertility rate of Muslims in France) in Tiny Frog, Muslim Demographics, 2009-05-03, Duncan Macleod, Muslim Demographics on YouTube Abuse of Statistics, 2009-05-11, Steve Letendre, Muslim Demographics Debunked, 2009-05-26, Richard Abanes, Muslim Demographics - A Christian Response, 2009-06-27, BBC Radio 4, Muslim Demographics: The Truth, 2009-08-07, Oliver Hawkins, Disproving the Muslim Demographics sums, 2009-08-07, Richard Knight, Debunking a YouTube hit, 2009-08-07.

Thanks for posting all of those Nicolas. The original video got 10 million + hits, so its no surprise that there are so many replies to it. I hope most people who saw the original also saw one of these debunks.
